Magnolia Down Under Challenge #130 {Create a Project in the Colours of Your National Flag} - Winner and Top 5

Well I know some of the MDUC DT gals were wondering WHO chose this challenge when they realised what colours they had to work with - but they all did an AMAZING job in the end. And you guys were certainly up to the challenge too. We see our National Flags all the time but don't always think of them in terms of offering a colour combo for our crafting too - but boy some of them look amazing!

I hope everyone had a Bonza Australia Day yesterday, with lots of backyard cricket, BBQ's, and water fights!!! (Well everyone Australian) Everyone who isn't Australian, we hope you had a wonderful day too!!

It seems to me that dies and punches are a favourite tool of many of you - I know I rarely make a card without using at least one die or punch! The worst part about all of your amazing entries is how big my die wish list has grown - there are some amazing dies on the market these days! Well I must say we had another week of gorgeous entries this week but when it came down to voting we did have to take into consideration those that we felt had followed the inspiration picture we had given you - there are many ways to interpret inspiration pictures but some were more obvious than others. I've always loved the look texture can give to a card - it's what gives it that special hand made quality and differentiates it from the flat shop brought cards.
